Born 14 September 1925 to Harry and Phyllis Argument Married to William Arthur Wooden (‘Bill’) in 1947 Mother to Gilliam and Sally, five amazing grandchildren and nine great grandchildren She had a brief wartime career in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force before marrying Bill.
After Gillian’s arrival she became a full time home maker and housewife, with a love of cooking, golf, tennis and bridge. Described by her many friends as having a sharp wit and a good sense of humour.
Phyl died on 25 April 2021. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
