Thousands of greyhounds retire from racing each year. Some are less than two years old, the majority are aged between two and four years. Many people don't realise that greyhounds make excellent pets. They are gentle, loving and adapt to home life easily. The expert team at the kennels work to care for and rehome these lovely dogs.
We feel so lucky to have had Wendy as a neighbour - and so sad that we couldn't have her as a neighbour for a little longer. She was always so kind to our little boy and, of course, to our dog! She's much missed X

We were shocked and very sad to hear of the sudden loss of Wendy. I will miss her sense of humour and the advice and guidance she has given me over the years. She has also shown me that you are never too old to do what you want to do, be it a tattoo or unicorn hair! With fond memories xx

Wendy P was a huge part of mine, my sisters and our families lives for many years.
She was my Mums best friend and was so supportive when Mum was terminally ill and died shortly after.
She became a second Mum to me when I needed advice, a hug, or a shoulder to cry on.
Im going to miss our pub quiz’s, lunches and family get togethers.
Give mum a hug from me
Love and miss you both
