Richard (Rick) Julian Wherrett of Braintree Essex, formerly from Slimbridge Gloucestershire passed away peacefully on Sunday 21st November 2021 at home, aged 58 years.

Beloved Husband to Tracey for 34 years. Loving Father to Steven and Catherine and adored Grandad to Jazmine, Elouise, Ryan and Bobby. Dearly missed by his mother Sadie and siblings Daphne, David and Peter and all family members and many wonderful friends.

Rick was a kind, fun-loving man with the rest of his life ahead of him. He had been enjoying a lifetime of family adventures, before his life was cruelly cut short by Cancer. His sense of fun, humour and love of sports, nature ,a good red wine and a joke or two along with the ability to light up any room he walked into are the memories, we as a family will cherish and this is how we remember him.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu are for our two chosen charities very close to our hearts, that have supported us over the past year and any donations however small will be very much appreciated.
