A bright shy daughter of Frances and Jack Savage, Jackie spent many school holidays & weekends with her best friend Lin as well as her many cousins in East Acton.
Born in Battersea, she moved to East London in 1964 when she married the love of her life, Charlie. During the early years following the birth of her daughters (Sharon in 1967 and Julia in 1970) she made lifelong friends with Ann and Martin, and Sue & John, that continues through her daughters.
Having an accountancy background, Jackie’s work life centred on her girls but she maintained a career until retirement, making colleagues great friends throughout.
Jackie and Charlie adored spending time with their grandchildren, Zoe & Martin, and loved their trips to the Isle of Wight to visit their ‘favourite Irish Son-in-Law’ (who she had many adventures with).
Her heart was broken in 2005 when Charlie passed but with support from her family and friends she found new ways to enjoy life again. Meeting Peter and his family gave her many opportunities to celebrate life and value companionship.
She passed peacefully the day after the weekend celebrating her 80th birthday with family. We will miss her smile, curiosity of life and her generosity … but most of all her laughter. She gave joy to so many yet expected little in return.

I am thinking of my Cousin Jackie with both sadness and pleasure, very pleased to know that she enjoyed her 80th Birthday with her family and sad to know that we will not hear her voice or laughter again. She will be much missed by family and friends but will surely be remembered by all with much affection and many lovely memories of good times together with her.
Mrs Carol Tilley
Remembering a dear cousin who as children we spent happy times together. I was also a bridesmaid at her wedding to Charlie so have happy memories of a wonderful day. I know she will be sadly missed by her family but lovingly remembered by all. Unable to be at the funeral but will be thinking of Jackie (with love) on the day.
