I was a PWC work colleague of Bob's for over 20 years, I can only vouch for what everyone has said about Bob, and that the strongest part of his character was his wicked sense of humour. I particularly have one very good reason for remembering Bob; on 7th October 2019 I suffered a stroke whilst working at PC's Watford office, fortunately Bob was working at the same site, his help went beyond the extra mile and he accompanied me in the ambulance and stayed with me for over 4 hours at the hospital. During that time he dealt with the situation with great compassion and that wicked sense of humour popping up at appropriate moments.Thank you Bob - forever in your debt for your kindness, I shall miss you. R.I.P. Bob, taken from us too soon.

Talking to attendees at Bob's tremendous remembrance service, showed it wasn't only my life which he had such a positive life changing effect on, but he also shared his unique talent with many others. Whilst working with Bob during the very chaotic Price Waterhouse & Coopers Lybrand merger, his fast comical cheeky wit led to another extraordinary merger & me meeting my current beautiful wife. Like most men I'm unfortunately not very good with anniversaries but it certainly feels like we've been together well over 20 years & enjoyed similar happiness to the still solid PWC merger which brought us together. After many years it was a pleasure again meeting Bob's now fully grown children but I only wish it could have been under very different circumstances. Its wasn't difficult to see the wonderful life skills both Bob & Dot have carefully installed into them & how they are now determined to take these precious memories into the future & create the legacy their parents will infinitely be proud of. Hopefully if St Peter also allows me into the gates of heaven, Bob & I will get a chance to again re-enact some of our finest chuckle brothers moments while aligning Gods clouds into a more brotherly like order. My heartfelt condolences to Bob's family. I have the most wonderful memories of happy times spent with Bob in the Newcastle office. Bob always went the extra mile and was so kind and helpful. Many charities in Newcastle remember him too as he delivered and set up furniture donated from our office move. Bob will be sorely missed by so many. God bless.

I work in PwC's Belfast office and I recently had the pleasure and privilege to work with Bob when we decommissioned the old office. Bob was one of the most kindest and genuine person I have ever met, nothing was too much trouble for him. His legacy is that he has changed the lives of thousands of the most vulnerable people in Northern Ireland for years to come. I will cherish the time we spent together and the memories that I have.
Mr Benny Miskelly
My condolences to Bob's family and friends. Bob was a joy to work with. He was always eager to do the best for you, pleasant and fun too. My heartfelt condolences to you all.
Mrs Alicia Pym
To Bob's family I want to express my sincere sympathy to you all for your loss. Bob was an amazing guy to work with and as I am based in the Northern Ireland Belfast office I know that he always looked forward to coming over to his hometown in support of our regional projects. During our more recent project Bob and his team were responsible for clearing out our old office. This was no ordinary job as we decided to give all of our furniture to 56 Belfast charities and this was achieved by Bob and his crew in under two months. Bob was key to making this element of giving back a success without his leadership and direction it simply would have failed. So you can be very proud of what Bob has done and his dedicated effort and support has helped thousands of disadvantaged people. We will miss him dearly but very proud to have worked alongside him and to have known him. He was a pleasure and a joy to work with and have known. God Bless you all Mark McCallum and the NI Firm.
