Strongmen Charitable Incorporated Organisation
Registered Number 1184242
Edward Michael Terry Wilkinson
11/06/1968 – 13/05/2022
In memory of Ed and in lieu of flowers, please can we ask you to donate to the charity which we know he would have wanted to benefit - strongmen.org.uk. This small UK charity aims to support men following bereavement.
We have a personal family connection to one of the founders and Ed would have been delighted he could help them through donations in his name.
Above is Ed proudly wearing his StrongMen t-shirt.
Please note that we are expecting more people to attend than there are seats for in the crematorium. Family and close friends will have been informed that they will enter the chapel first and remaining seats then filled.
There is a standing area in the foyer of the crematorium with a view into the chapel and TV screens also provided in this area, for those unable to be seated.
If you would rather watch on live stream please contact Julie, who will forward you the email with the log in details.
Please wear what you feel most comfortable in, but to reflect Ed’s sunny nature, feel free to wear a splash of colour!

Wake details:
The wake will be held at the family home – 15 Petersfield Lane, Gosfield, CO9 1PU.
We would be delighted if everyone could join us after the service for a toast and some light refreshments from around 5.30pm until around 6.30/7pm.
Family and close friends will be remaining at the house for supper and will have been informed of this ahead of the day. Please can we ask that you respect the family’s wishes on this.
We live in a narrow country lane, so parking is not easy, however the Petersfield Antiques Village almost opposite our home have offered us their parking areas – there is a main car park at the front and an overspill area at the rear. Please do not block access to the additional parking to left of the large barn as it is also the farmer’s vehicle access route
Ed was a true gentleman! An incredible person and will be missed massively, though always remembered! Sending all our love, Tom, Natalie and Marnie xxx

I’m a little lost for words. My Christmas Uncle Ed is not at the end of the phone with a lovely message anymore. No more hopes of a last minute cuppa when you’re passing. The likes of you are so rare. The only consolation is what a wonderful wife you had and that you were so happy. I wish you had more time together. I’ll miss you Ed. I didn’t see you often but you were always in my heart and always will be. I plan to bring a little more love to everyone in this world, you did it with such ease and I will make sure that legacy lives on. Love you. Tash, Mike and the rest of the Welchies xxx
