I was very sorry to hear of your John’s passing. He was a much liked and respected member of Bishops Stortford Railway Society and I had the pleasure of knowing him since 1978 at the club. He always asked questions, had time for everyone and was known for organising some memorable club events including the 50th anniversary dinner at The Bluebell Line. Both my wife (who met John on several occasions) and myself will always remember him. Keith & Janet Sullivan
