Messages of condolence

Paul was One in a Million who will never be forgotten by the many people that he helped throughout his life in so many different ways. xx

Treasured memories always, special love forever xxxxx

Miss Beverley Hughes

Dear Paul, you were taken from us far too young and we will always regret that we did not have more opportunities to get to know you better over the years. If we could speak to you now we would tell you that your funeral, whilst very sad and moving, was also full of love, joy and hope. You clearly touched many lives and it seems that wherever you did so you invariably made a positive impact and a real difference for the better. Our hearts go out to all those who loved & held you closest; especially Beverley of course but also to your extended family and dearest friends. Rest in peace.

Mr & Mrs Colin & Louise Burns

Mr P was my friend. He was a fellow ginger, kind, loyal and caring with a mischievous sense of humour who loved winding me up! Always there, always ready to help, advise and offer his opinion (!). He was one of the most reliable people I knew … and you could always count on him to get you home after a good night out…of which there were many! He was a good good man who loved and felt things deeply. He stood up for what he believed in and held dear the important things in life – like making memories – me and my family certainly made plenty with Mr P and we will treasure them forever.

Mrs Lorraine Brown

Mr P, so serious, so funny, so loyal and so very very kind. We have loved every minute we have shared with you and Bev. So many happy times. You will always be in our hearts. Love and miss you always.

We will always miss you Paul but do have so many memories of family times we shared. You have always strived to make life better for young people who were in some way disadvantaged, you didn't just speak it, you did it and in every way that you could. You tried your best always and never gave up - that was who you were! Now you are at peace and re-united with those you loved and missed so much. Love from Marian and Les xx

Paul, our next door neighbour and supportive CrossFit buddy! You cheered me on at the 'CrossFit Open' comp, which meant a lot, and spurred me on, that was you, and your passion for it, it was wonderful you came to cheer! So very sad you are gone, but always remembered with great fondness! On the morning of your passing we could hear 'The Red Hot Chilli Peppers' music coming from your open window, and I said to my husband "Ahh Paul is having a lovely morning"! It made us happy to hear him, really living his best life, and music being so important to him! RIP Paul, a lovely man, with a big heart! Love and sympathy to Beverly and all the family.
