In 1992, Caz, Angela, Areatha, Kaaren, and other young girls, joined Verity, who was the program coordinator, in helping children with severe handicaps at the Sighisoara Hospital dystrophic ward in Romania. In the past 31 years they have returned multiple times to help support the hospitals and local communities by providing essential welfare items and care. Donations here will go towards Amen Trust and @PerspectiveDanes, to help them and Verity's team to continue their support.
Caz was an amazing person. She was a much-loved mother to us two boys, sister, auntie, daughter, hockey player, nurse, and friend to so many. In this difficult time, all that we are hearing is how fond everyone was of her, how liked she was and how good she was as a nurse.
She was fun, made amazing food (especially her pasta dishes) and was always wanting the best for everyone. Taken way too soon and very missed by everyone whose hearts she touched.
Love you mum. J & E xx

Darling Caz, I will always miss you, my friend and so sad that you left us so soon but grateful for the fun times that we had. A beautiful, kind, caring and generous person. Be at peace. My condolences to your lovely sons Jared & Ethan, your sisters Rachel & Suzanne and your mum and all the family. God Bless. Xxx

Dear Jared,Ethan,Rachel and the rest of Caz’s family. I am so sorry for your sudden loss of Caz. I will always remember her fun, kind energetic spirit. She was always keen to play a game of hockey despite a late night or having a team of newbies that had no idea what they were doing.

She always gave my daughter lots of support and encouragement during hockey matches and will be missed by the hockey community this season.

I spent time with Caz in Romania. She was fun to be around but also serious when it came to her work and the kids. She was a very capable woman. I also remember her taking uno very seriously ! I can’t believe she’s gone.

I am still saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Caz and it’s hard to sum up such a warm, kind and generous soul in a few words. I’ll always treasure the many happy times spent on and off the hockey pitch with her, the summer BBQs, trips to Harwich and sense of fun that she always injected. I will always cherish the memories I had with Caz and know her memory will live on forever with her family and her sons, of which she was always immensely proud.

Caroline has a special place in all of our hearts and she will be incredibly missed by all. Patients always spoke so highly of her and she always went above and beyond for anyone she cared for. All our love, from everyone at Herts and Essex Hospital.

I met up with Caroline a few weeks before she passed and spent a lovely few hours with her at the garden centre. We shared the love of gardening.
I worked with her at the Rivers and she was an amazing nurse.
She was a generous kind and funny friend. I miss her.

Caz was brilliant to have on pitch playing with her for the last 2 years. Made me feel welcome within the team and a great team mate.

Dear Jared, Ethan and family.
I was so sorry to hear that Caz has passed away. All too soon as your message says. We had some great times, especially when James and Carl were young. I remember having fun at Hatfield Forest and Hemsby when we all stayed in the caravan. We laughed so much. Please accept my sincere condolences. I know you will be looking after each other.
Much Love,
Emma, James & Carl.
