My dear little sister, keep being you wherever you are. It served you so well in this life. Miss you forever xxxx
Mrs Rebecca Thied
Simply through being frequent visitors to Laura's cafe in the forest, over the years we built up a special relationship with her which meant we always received an enthusiastic personal welcome from her all year round. Despite the fact we actually spent relatively little time in her company overall, we appreciated the way she remembered everything about us and took a moment to chat to us as if we were some of her best friends - she was open about her illness but never dwelt on it, merely saying every day is a bonus. Laura was an incredible lady, so kind, so generous, so courageous, so inspirational. We will miss her a great deal. Carl and Paola

Dear Laura, I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this. You are and will always be one amazing woman and I can’t thank you enough for what you did for us. I’ll always remember you, and the many fun times we had together, full of laughter. Keep on singing Laura, that’s one of the things I’ll always remember about you. Always singing, whether it be Bonnie, Candi or Rod, the best songs that will always remind me of you. Rest easy Laura, a dear friend I’ll never forget xxx
