The League Of Friends Of Broomfield Hospital
VOLUNTEERS from the Friends at Broomfield Hospital have been giving vital help and making life better for patients of all ages, as well as for staff and visitors at the hospital, for more than 60 years.
A vast array of equipment, plus countless extras to bring more comfort and convenience to all who use the hospital's wards and departments, have been made possible thanks to the money brought in through the efforts made by the Friends.
An amazing total of around ONE MILLION POUNDS has been raised by the Friends through the services they run and over the years this has made a massive difference.
Last year the Friends donated over £70,000 to pay for hospital amenities.
The Friends at Broomfield Hospital group (formerly called the League of Friends) currently has around 50 volunteers, but more people are needed to swell the ranks and help bring that special and much-appreciated extra dimension to the services offered at Broomfield Hospital.
