A loving Husband, Father and doting Grandpa, Peter Heap was also a dedicated ambassador for St Clare Hospice.
In addition to raising tens of thousands of pounds through fundraising events over the years, providing vital funds for the hospice's work.
Peter was also a staunch advocate for the hospice movement, more generally helping dispel myths about hospice care.
He will be missed greatly by all.
The work of St Clare is about helping those affected by life-limiting illnesses to have the best quality of life.
