Messages of condolence

We will miss Fred’s outgoing and cheerful character, which became a huge feature of our everyday lives, be it at the allotment or down the pub! Fred has been far more than our neighbour at plot 27A, he has been our friend, tutor and life mentor, as well as entertaining us with his many adventures throughout his long life. Fred’s legacy goes beyond words, we will always think of him with warmth and affection every time we plant cabbages in his home made cages, pick a ripened tomato from a greenhouse he repaired or enjoy a cup of tea in his cherished building, renowned far and wide across Linford End Allotments as “Fred’s Shed”. May we extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to all of Fred’s family and friends and thank Fred for inviting us into his life and giving us so many fond and happy memories.
