Messages of condolence

Sincere condolences to Sarah and Ellen. I first met your dad at Woolwich just after your mum had died. A professional relationship developed into true friendship - we kept in touch after we both retired, and Phil stayed with us a few years ago when he went to Manchester to visit his new granddaughter. Harry and Sue.

From friends at Waggoners Court.

Mrs Sarah McNie

Sorry to near of the sad loss of Phillip. I joined the MOD in 1969 and met Phillip for the first time when he showed me the paints lab as part of my introduction to MOD. We both worked together until he retired from Quinetiq at Farnborough. I and a colleague visited Phillip at Bishops Stortford a couple of times after we all had retired and was pleased to renew our friendship. I was saddened to be unable to attend the funeral.
