I worked with John in Harlow in 1970's and 80s . We went on several training courses at Bletchley and socialised in the evenings in the Bar. I met him in Bishops Stortford telephone exchange again in 2020 just before covid where upon he sold me of his terminal illness.
It was sad to here of his passing. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss
