Charity details

London Inner City Kitties

We are a small, volunteer run, no-kill cat charity.

We rescue cats and kittens, and with your help we treat them and find them loving new forever homes.

London Inner City Kitties is a non-profit, no-kill charity in East London established in 2018 to rescue cats. We are run entirely by a small team of dedicated (unpaid) volunteers whose aim is to help cats in need, especially those that need it receive medical treatment, need special care or are elderly.

We operate using a network of foster carers and our trustees cover all other running costs. This allows us to use 100% of donations for medical expenses, specialty medical food, medicine and on a few occasions is used for food and litter.

Messages of condolence

Farewell to a lovely lady. Our chats after Mum died were a great comfort. Rest in peace. Maggie and Del, Laura and Lee, Vics and Marc xx

Mr Derek Cobb

Sylvia was very special, strong, independent and one of a kind; our heart and soul of the family home in Hackney. Our Photographer of family events and important moments. Sylvia kept the history of our family alive, surrounded by our memories of Great Nan, (from Russia), and Nan and Grandad. Sylvia could supply names, birthdays, ages, phone numbers, addresses, histories, places, emotions and memories. An early memory is of my Godmother, Aunt Sylvia, looking beautiful and elegant in a black dress with a stunning broach, above her left breast, gently holding me, while explaining that my Nan, Dad’s Mum, had grown wings, and, was looking down, and, would forever look down, to be with her family from Heaven, guiding and healing us. Today, and always, we honour Sylvia, and ask her to fly amongst us \and be with us forever.

Sylvia you were the matriarch of the family and a rock for my Mum since my Dad and your dear brother passed. You will be very much missed. May you be reunited with those lost to you over the years and forever rest in peace. Love Debbie, Kevin & Jean xx
