Spicma

SPICMA reaches out to the poorest and most marginalized in the developing world.
Working through the missionary Church, we focus our help on those projects which would struggle to catch the eye of the larger charities.

SPICMA gives relief aid and supports developmental projects.

We also assist in projects which enable the local Catholic Church to grow on the ground.

We keep our bureaucracy and administration costs to a legal minimum.

Everyone at SPICMA is a volunteer – no wages are paid to anyone.

Projects are funded through donations and legacies made by individuals and groups.

SPICMA provides its help to people regardless of their religious beliefs or ethnicity.

Magic Breakfast

Almost one in five children in the UK are at risk of going hungry each morning.

For over 20 years, we’ve provided breakfasts in schools without barriers – making sure every child feels included and ready to learn. We started small, delivering food to five schools in Hackney, London. Today, the demand for our services is higher than ever, so we had to evolve. We’re now a UK wide charity, providing breakfasts to hundreds of schools and thousands of children up and down the country. We continue to support those in need right now but we’re also working to eliminate the problem once and for all.

Alan, my best and oldest friend with great memories from our time as students in Paris in 1972 to our present day Old Codgers’ Lunch Club trawling all the restaurants in Stortford just because we liked food and wine (especially you!).
