What we do
At Gaddesden Place RDA Centre we aim to enhance the lives of disabled children and adults through horse riding and equine therapies. We work with a range of individuals including those with:
- cerebral palsy
- autism & ADHD
- learning difficulties
- sight and hearing impairments
- global developmental delay
The unique relationship and movement of the horse helps to:
- Improve muscle tone and core strength
- Aid balance and coordination
- Learn a new skill
- Increase confidence and self-awareness
- Widen boundaries of experience and social contact
Our RDA qualified coaches work with each rider, developing a programme of therapeutic activities based on individual needs.
