Dear Norma had always been a supporter of our Baha’i events and interfaith activities. “Cause her,O Lord, to be overshadowed by the clouds of Thy bounty and favour, immerse her in the ocean of Thy forgiveness and pardon, and enable her to enter that sanctified abode, Thy heavenly Paradise. Thou art verily, the Mighty, the Compassionate, the Generous, the Merciful.” Baha’i prayer From the Baha’i community of Bishop’s Stortford

Norma you were a Superstar and we will never see the like of you again. My thoughts are with your family and friends at this very sad time.
Mrs Terrie Archer
You had so much compassion for people in difficult circumstances and yet despite the awful conditions people found themselves in throughout East Herts and Harlow, you still were able to heartily laugh with others when the situation was entirely appropriate. Not everyone can do that. You will genuinely be missed.
Mr & Mrs Jonathan Kaye
You were a true friend to my late disabled wife Valerie. I’ll never forget you.
Mr Brian Farley
Thank you Norma for everything you have done for the people of Bishop’s Stortford, you have been the hands and feet of Jesus. This bible reading describes you, Norma. 2 Timothy 4 v 7 to 8. ‘’ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which The Lord, the righteous judge will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for His appearing. ‘’ May you Rest In Peace.

Norma's contribution to improving the lives of people around her was immeasurable. As the police stopped traffic for the piper to progress from Holy Trinity someone asked me what was happening. When I told them, the light in their eyes told me...they had been one of those. We were both too emotional to continue.
Mrs Rita Eustace

Always loved her for her selfless devotion to her family and others. Sat next to her in church after she broke her ankle on the Friday (which was now in plaster for 6 weeks) when God healed her on the Sunday during worship. Alleluia. Great character, great friend.

Norma was a kind friend. She helped me by introducing me to a local club. She also helped so many people with their problem. She was excellent at finding a solution that would help people. I will miss her and the conversations we had over a cup of coffee or a meal at a cafe. She once informed me that I had a bogey hanging. she was a good friend indeed and.will be missed.
Mr Russell Cox
Norma first came into my life when I was in a dark place. One day I was walking past the old Kings Arms pub, and saw a sign welcoming people like me. People who were lost, broken, damaged by life. I walked through the doors, and was greeted by the kindest human I’ve ever met. She loved and cared for me, like she did for so many others. She was a beacon of love, hope and inspiration, and I will never forget how she helped me to change my life. I owe her so much. Thank you, Dear Normski, for being a rainbow in my cloud. I will never forget you. Love Bear xx
Mrs Sarah Ruggirello
My best friend of nearly fifty years and sparring partner. I have so many memories of our escapades and scrabble games, don’t know who cheated the most. How we sat cross legged on the floor to play I’ll never know. Miss you so much but thank goodness I know we’ll meet again in heaven. You certainly ran the race and gained the crown. Now rest in the arms of Jesus. XXX
Mrs Gillian Walker

To my darling Normski, I can’t even believe that I’m having to write this, I naively thought you’d be with me forever. I’m so sad I can’t be with you, like you have always been there for me. You have always been at the end of the phone sorting any issue or even just giving advise it’s a hard reality thinking your not at the end of the phone and now have to be an adult, at the age of 40 lol. You took me in at the age of 16 to 18. There was a few rules no drugs and no coming home drunk!! I would try and sneak in the house drunk obviously! Sneak up the stairs to hear your bellowing voice calling my name. You always waited up. I’d come in your bedroom lay on your bed with you, you’d ask if I’d been drinking, I’d deny I had been drinking. I’d talk absolute drunken nonsense And you’d always say ok Alysha off to bed. I would go to bed thinking she defo believes me! But I know you knew. I’m so thankful we got to spend our time together a week before you fell ill, you laughed at my Inappropriateness, and absolutely joined in as you always did, I needed that day of my Normski hit. Your kindness and wicked sense of humours was amazing. There are so many years of memories and thanks I could talk about, but I’d would be here forever. Thank you to Fiona, Lizzie, Pete and John for sharing your mum with me, and all of us. When I started to write this I was scared of a life without you my safety net, but Iv realised I’m who I am today because of you grounded, hardworking you pushed and supported me through my nursing and was so proud when I graduated, me and my family wouldn’t be where we are now if not for you. But most of all I thank you for loving me just the way I was. Il never forget you normski, rest up there with your main man (god) and a whisky of course!! And pls put a good word in for me coz your my only hope of getting through them gates. I will Love you always my normski the world is a sad place without you but your legacy will live on coz I will never stop speaking about you Alysha
