Mr Lionel Marsh

Reading the tributes to Lionel from colleagues and former pupils on the Buckhurst Hill School website, reflects his skill as a PE and Maths teacher and the respect that he earned from them for his ‘firm but fair’ attitude to them. I knew him as a cricketing colleague at Potter Street Cricket Club where his skill as a batter and bowler was an important part of our sporting success. He was certainly firm but fair in playing the game and I remember him with fondness. My wife Jenny joins me in sending condolences to Jackie at this difficult time.
