Pete. Uncle Pete, Latterly affectionately known as Scary. Scary Uncle. In truth you were never ever that. We loved your calls - always pretty random to be fair: the birds in the garden, football, food, family stuff. But you always cared about us, asking about us, our children, and our new grandson, our cats, our work. You were genuinely interested. You always offered support and advice, and we always took it. When your sister died, Bren, we felt you really missed that special connection you had. Your relationship was very special and strong despite the years between you and the physical distance. And that weird and honestly plain bonkers sense of humour was obviously genetic from your mother in particular. Sending much love to your beloved children and family - to Steve, Amy, Kev and Cath. You were his world. We will miss you so much. Good night Pete, God Bless. Duncan, Lin, Lauren, Paul, Will, Megan and Freddie xxx

Goodbye Pete,
I will always remember the kind and gentle person you were.
The good times we had chatting about putting the world to right, football, fishing and your bird watching.
Going to the cinema with Steve to watch our Star Wars movies and enjoying a meal together.
Rest in peace mate and May The Force be With You
