Mrs Catherine (Cathy) Ryan

20 February 1937- 29 March 2026

Our beloved Mother died peacefully on the morning of 29th March after a long illness borne with dignity and grace. She is now re-united with all those that have gone before her, her late husband Edgar and her son John.

She is survived by two sisters and her twin brother who miss the joy her bright spirit brought to their lives.

Her four surviving children and four grandchildren  miss her gentle guidance and unconditional love  but will carry her example on throughout their lives. Her great-grandchildren will be told about her love which is woven into the beautifully made unique garments they  inherit.

Cathy was dedicated to family including her nieces and nephews. Everyone had their own unique relationship with her and will have their own special memories.

She would always say “there is only one you”.

There will certainly only ever be one Cathy.
