Messages of condolence

Our hearts go out to Ciarán’s family and friends. He was so lovely, quick-witted, and genuine. May he rest in peace. 🤍

Mr & Mrs Tom & Alyssa Landers

To our dear friend Ciarán, we were so lucky to know you and have you in our lives. We loved you very much.

I went to secondary school with Ciarán, and he was someone who was liked by everyone. He was incredibly kind to me during a time when I was struggling, and when we later joined the same sixth form, we built a lovely friendship. Ciarán had a wonderfully quirky sense of humour and a way of making people laugh, while also being someone who genuinely listened. He had a warmth about him that made people feel comfortable, and he seemed to get along with everyone. And, of course, I’ll always remember his love of a good tweed jacket - somehow, he managed to make them look completely normal at an age when the rest of us were probably wearing anything but. I have very fond memories of Ciarán. Having known him since we were 11, he was part of so many of those years where we were growing up and finding our way in the world - from school and sixth form through to university. In a way, we grew up alongside each other, and I feel very lucky to have shared so many of those years with him. I will remember Ciarán very fondly, for his kindness, his humour, his quirks, and for the lovely person he was.

Ciarán was one of the most special people that touched my life. I will always cherish the beautiful time we spent together and feel deeply saddened that the world has lost such a precious soul. He was so funny, incredibly clever, eccentric and curious. I only ever wanted him to find peace in his life and I hope he has found this finally wherever he is. All my love to the O’Donohue family.

Miss Lily Vetch

My deepest condolences to all that loved him. A wonderfully kind hearted man that would put everyone before himself. I had a regretfully short time spent with him during uni years, but some I won’t forget. Xx

Miss Alyssa Brewer

So sorry to hear of the loss of Ciarán. We were close when we were both at university and bonded over his excellent taste in music. He was a kind & gentle person with a good heart & an amazing collection of jackets 🩷
