Farleigh Hospice exists to meet the needs of local people affected by life limiting illnesses and to support those who have been bereaved. Through the ongoing generosity of the mid Essex population they provide a range of high quality services totally free of charge. By giving people choice and involvement in the care they receive they make a real difference when and where it matters most.

I am so very sad about the passing of Nickie. We first met when we were both in the early stages of new motherhood. She had George and I had Monty. We spent many years together as friends, sleep deprived and learning together to be a mummy. I will remember her as a fierce and loving mum that would do anything for her children. She absolutely loved being a mummy. I heard George talk about her today, so brave and eloquent. She must have been so proud of him and Violet and Mable. She was so fun and I am so grateful and privileged to have had so many good memories over those few precious years. I am truly sorry for this massive loss. Anita x
