As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support's goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.
Our vision is to make a difference to people by investing in projects that enhance our patients’ and carers' experiences, whilst advancing our services through funding additional medical equipment and staff training.

Remembering Michael with great fondness as chair of governors for Summercroft Primary School. He gave unstintingly of his time and was the perfect balance of critical friend and cheerleader. During Covid19 Michael provided much needed reassurance and encouragement whilst navigating uncertainty. Michael’s attention to detail was much appreciated as this was not my strength! I feel so fortunate to have worked alongside him. My sincere condolences for your loss. Carole x
