Isabel Hospice Limited

Isabel Hospice is a registered charity which provides free palliative care and support for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses such at MND, end stage renal conditions, end stage heart conditions, respiratory conditions or other neurological conditions, throughout eastern Hertfordshire. The population they serve is almost 350,000 people. Care is based on the simple idea that patients are ordinary people living with physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. The Hospice provides enormous support to families and friends, caring for the patients and all those around them.

You will find a warm welcome in all the churches of our Benefice, whatever your age or stage of Christian faith. Our aim is to be people who are living God's love as we go deeper into God, make new disciples of Jesus Christ and transform our communities.

St Andrew's Church serves the parish of Much Hadham together with St Thomas', Perry Green. At St Andrew’s, the building is shared with the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church and there is a strong sense of unity between the two congregations. We come together for many special shared services and other events. The sculptor Henry Moore who lived and worked in Perry Green is buried in the churchyard at St Thomas’.

The churches of St Mary's, Albury and St Cecilia's, Little Hadham work closely together with services at Albury on the first and third Sundays of the month and Little Hadham on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.

We are part of the Ash and Quin Valleys Group - a partnership with the churches of Braughing, Furneux Pelham and Stocking Pelham.
