In memory of Duncan Goldsby. 30th November, 1940 - 18th November, 2020
Duncan worked and travelled extensively in the Middle East, starting off in Dubai in 1969 building the airport and runway, then Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Baghdad, Khamis Mushayt, back to a very different Dubai in the 1990s and finally coming back to the West coast of Scotland and Guernsey.
During all that time he was accompanied by his wife, Joyce, and later when the children arrived, Geraldine and Cameron. A loving family extended by his daughter in law, Betsabeh, and Grandchildren, Allegra and Otto.
We are all heartbroken. He had been battling for the past two years with a lung disease (ILD) and sadly it has now taken him from us.
We would like to extend our thanks to the NHS who have been amazing throughout.
