Our deepest condolences, Colin, to you and your family at this sad time. We were lucky enough to get to know you and Eliz, and enjoy your company, in many ways, including Felsted Choral Society, Holy Cross church and choir, Channels Golf Club, the WEA and various social events and parties. Eliz was a delight to be with, full of fun, quick to laugh and always radiated a great enthusiasm for life. We will remember her fondly and miss her very much. Ian and Tricia Sinclair

Dear Colin and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's death earlier this month. I felt it very fitting though that I read the email from Martin, sending it to all Felsted Choral Society members, when I was actually attending a virtual choir rehearsal. Whilst I was a bit choked up as I was very fond of Elizabeth, I made sure I sang with her in mind as we Tallis' Salvator Mundi and hoped she would have approved. I couldn't help smiling to myself as I thought back fondly to those years of choir rehearsals with Elizabeth sitting in front of me. She was always one who would greet you with a smile and a twinkle in her eye, even when times were tough. She was a delight and always managed to make us laugh when we were grappling with a new piece. Never one to sway from a challenge, she would always sing her heart out whenever she could. I hope you are comforted by how many people loved Elizabeth, know that we will miss her very much and as for me, I count myself lucky to have spent so many years singing, laughing and having fun on a Thursday evening with her. Much Love Sarah Barfoot xx
